South Roxana--Frances C. Allen, 70, died at 6:30 p.m., Friday, June 21, 1991, at home.
She was born in Nameoki on Oct. 9, 1920, a daughter of the late Jacob and Sophia (Spies) Klug.
On Sept. 24, 1941, in Mitchell, she married Alvin Allen.
Surviving are her husband; two brothers, Charles Klug of East Alton and Emil Klug of Granite City; and two sisters, Sophia East of Mount Olive and Anna Buehrer of Granite City.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Monday at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights, where a prayer service will be read at 8 p.m.
A funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Wood River, with the Rev. James Neuman as celebrant.
Burial is in Roselawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be given to the Arthritis Foundation.
