She was born in Salt Lake City to John Paul and Linnea Adamson on September 21, 1932.
She married Karl R. Rocks in 1951 and they had four children. She later married Owen Weeks in 1974.
She is survived by her children, Lorin (Elisabetta), Barbara (Scott), Lenea, and Doug; sister, Paula; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
After raising her children, Viola returned to school to become a nurse and worked at Cottonwood Hospital for nineteen years. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord dearly and wrote many beautiful poems that she felt were inspired by God. She was also a talented singer who often blessed others with her beautiful voice.
She is preceded in death by her mother, who died shortly after giving birth to her; father; three loving step-mothers; two brothers; two sisters; and dear grandson, Daniel.
Though she will be sorely missed by all who knew her, we celebrate the lovely, intelligent, and sophisticated lady whom we cherished. We love you, Mom, and can’t wait to see you again!
