Gwen Moore Allen
  Gwen passed away peacefully in her home on December 29, 2017 surrounded by her family.
  She grew up in Lyman, Utah where she married Fay O. Allen and had 2 children, Dorthy and Dennis.
Gwen, Fay, and Kim moved to Salt Lake in 1970 where she became a successful realtor and then real estate broker. She was the first female real estate broker for Century 21 in Utah. She was also instrumental in starting Swift Investment Club. She loved her business and those who worked for her.
  She was kind, generous, and always looking for opportunities to help those less fortunate. She taught English as a second language at the Guadalupe Center, assisted with the Easter Seals telethon, and worked with the Road Home and other charities. She was knowledgeable, loyal, supportive, fair, and honest. She had a lot of integrity and had a great sense of humor.
  She enjoyed sewing and made beautiful things, loved running, cross country skiing, hunting, shooting, embracing new things, reading, and most of all loved to camp. She also really enjoyed her trips to Lake Powell and found great fun in starting water fights. She truly loved and found great joy in her family and friends.
  Survived by sister, Faun Chidester; brother, Guy Moore (Sharon); granddaughter, Kim Zacherson; great-granddaughter, Whitney Gardner (Jordan); great-great-granddaughter, Kennedy. Preceded in death by Fay, Dennis, and Dorthy.
  A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018, at 6:30 pm at Cactus & Tropicals located at 12252 S. Draper Gate Dr. in Draper, Utah. Light refreshments will be served.
