Portsmouth - Carolyn Jean Summers, 71, of the 100 block of Oregon Avenue, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018. A native of Coral Ridge, KY, she was the widow of Robert W. Summers. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Summers of KY; a son, Stephen Summers of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren, Robert N. and Ashley V. Summers.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
