He is survived by a brother, Dick Turner; two sisters, Geraldine Turner and Janie Elliot; daughter, Cathy Turner, Warsaw; two sons, Stewart (Helen) Turner, Upland, and Douglas (Darla) Turner, Marion; and 12 grandchildren, Nathan, Caty, Ian, Patti, Hannah, Afton, Kane, Meriah, Dillon, Reece, Megan, and Grace; 3 step-grandchildren, Christine, Scott, and Brittany, 13 great-grandchildren, and 5 step-great-grandchildren.

After graduating from Mississinewa High School, Jack served in the U.S. Marines, stationed in California. He was an outstanding draftsman for National China and then for his own business, J.T. Design, he was part owner of T-3 Investment. After retirement, he worked alongside his son, Stewart, with Turner Forestry. Jack designed, sold, and installed the equipment for the very first 200 Ponderosa Steakhouses, along with many other commercial kitchens. He played semi-pro baseball with Twin City Bankers and Packers and also had two try-outs with professional baseball teams. There is a book written about the team called "My Mother's Dream: Baseball with the Bankers". He was an avid golfer, bowler, and IU and Colts fan. Most of all, though, he loved and enjoyed going to his grandchildren's events. He was their biggest fan!

Per Jack's final wishes, there will be no viewing or service. There will be a private family celebration of his life at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
