Tyler Jay Martin was born on February 21, 1983 in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Steven Philip and Denise Renee (Cadwell) Martin. He was a 2001 graduate of Naperville Central High School, Naperville, IL, and had a career in logistics. Tyler was an avid sports fan; he especially loved the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. He participated in many sports himself and won an 8A Illinois State Football Championship. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his father and uncle, Jerry. Tyler had a very creative mind and had a talent for working with his hands. He enjoyed woodworking, mechanics, and was especially proud of restoring his antique red tractor. Tyler also had a passion for music and loved to play guitar.
Tyler will be deeply missed by his son, Jaxon Hunter Martin of Naperville, IL; parents, Steven and Denise Martin of Naperville, IL; sister, Megan Elizabeth (Jonathan) Meyer of Petoskey, MI; and niece Hazel Renee Meyer.
Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
