Roger A. Lambert, age 75, of Galva, Illinois, passed away on January 5, 2018, at 6:45 A.M. at the Richard Owen Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois.

He was born on July 16, 1942, in Wataga, Illinois, the son of Robert and Darlos (Larner) Lambert. He married Pauline L. Johnson on July 28, 1972, in Brimfield, Illinois. Roger worked as a sales associate at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Galesburg, Illinois.

Roger is survived by his wife: Pauline Lambert of Galva, Illinois; their daughter: Cindy Zibelin of Knoxville, Tennessee; two grandsons: Jeremy McKinnon, Corey Zibelin; two sisters: Mary (Dale) Wagher of Knoxville, Illinois, and Maxine (the late Hollis) Moshier of Galesburg, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He enjoyed woodworking and collecting firearms. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Bulls.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services at this time. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home is assisting the family.
