Ann Nelson, 68, Kokomo, passed away at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born May 26, 1949, in Kokomo, to John and Charlene (Windsor) Nelson. She was married to Wai Chuen “Alex” Wong, and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2017.
Jill graduated from Kokomo High School and later was owner and operator of A. Wong’s Chinese Restaurant, along with her husband.
She is survived by two sons, Alan Wong and Anthony Wong, of Kokomo; two daughters, Allison Wong, of California, and Alexis Iceton, of Kokomo; granddaughter, Zoie Iceton, of Kokomo; and two nephews, Ryan and Walt Kessler, of Galveston.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Jackie Nelson and June Kessler.
Jill’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no services planned at this time. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
