Ora Jackson

Ora Lee McInnis Jackson was born January 31, 1941 in Perry County, MS to the late John and Ruby Lee McInnis. After high school, she attended Alcorn State College in Lorman, MS where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. Ora united in holy matrimony to Johnny Jackson in 1966 in Pascagoula, MS. Ora then began her teaching career at East Park Elementary School for 3 years and after to Escatawpa Elementary School for 25 years. After 28 years of teaching, she retired in 1992 from Escatawpa Elementary School.
On January 2, 2018, Ora transitioned to be with our Hevenly Father. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby Lee McInnis, her husband Johnny Jackson, five brothers: Kevy, Mack, Ralph, Robert, and Willie McInnis.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her daughter, Tonya Jackson of Milton, FL and son Eric Jackson of Moss Point, MS. Three grandkids, Malcolm Taite,(Danielle Brackeen) of North Ridgeland Hills, TX, Ronaesha Taite and Ronnorie Clark of Milton, FL. One great grand Braylin Coleman. Two sisters, Hattie Robinson of Hattiesburg, MS and Bobbie Greenwood of Brooklyn, NY. One sister-in-law, Juanita Jackson, of Moss Point, MS three brother-in-laws, Elliot Jackson of Pascagoula, MS Edward (Cloteal)Jackson of Mobile, AL and Charles (Norma Jean) Jackson of Moss Point, MS. She also leaves a devoted friend Lois Knight; and like a daughter, Kitty Stewart and like her sons, Donald Mills Sr. and Charles Stewart Sr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
