Pete was born to Roy A. Wood, Sr. and Alyne Creager Wood in Sentinal, OK. He grew up in Dill City, OK, where he made a great circle of life long friends. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, lettering in tennis and majoring in Business. He is member of the Sigma Tau Gamma alumni, where he made many more life long friends. Pete attended University of Health Sciences in San Antonio College of Dentistry. He was a dentist in Weatherford, TX for over 30 years where he was well loved by his patients.

Pete was active all his life in hunting, fishing, hang gliding, parachuting, camping, motorcycle trips, skiing, etc. You name an outdoor sport and he has probably done it!

Pete is survived by his brother John Wood of Weatherford, OK; daughter Christy Taylor, her husband Leonardo of Weatherford, TX; son Neil Wood and Stephanie of River Oaks, TX; grandchildren Carissa Brawley, Jessie Wood, Jeremy Taylor, Shelby Taylor, Dondi Harris; and way to many friends too count.
