He had recently moved to Tucson, AZ where he was surrounded by his parents and family.
A devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Michael was compassionate and giving throughout his life. He was a cowboy at heart, enjoyed cheering on his favorite sports team, Denver Broncos, and liked snow and water skiing. He was a loyal, loving person anyone could meet.
Michael passed away December 23, 2017 at the Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital in Oro Valley, AZ.
Those cherishing his life include his parents, Floyd York and Mary Ann Bandich; children, Tiffany Pellman and Chris York; grandchildren, Joshua, Brendon, Brianna, Austin, Preston and Alyssa; great grandchild, Kaiden; brother Tim York and sister, Lisa Phillips.
