She is Buried near her Husband, Bilbo "Shorty" Baggett.

Their Daughter is Patricia "Pat" Green and Husband, John, of Booneville.

She is the Daughter of Sidney B. Brooks and Hester C. Geno Brooks.

A Death which Saddened her Entire Community was Mrs. Bilbo Baggett's Unexpected Passing last Thursday Morning, February 24, 1944.

She had been Ill a Very Short Ttime, minimal attention being called to her Illness until it Progressed to an Alarming Seriousness Thursday Afternoon.

Diagnosis by her Physician after she reached the Hospital Proved that she had Developed an Acute Blood Disease, in the Face of which Medical Science is Powerless.

Mrs. Baggett was Born in Prentiss County; the Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sid Brooks of the Jumpertown Community, both of whom have Passed On.

Her Mother was Bed-Ridden for Several Years before she Died and the Responsibility of the Home and the Care of Two Younger Brothers Rested upon the shoulders of the only Daughter, Herself then no more than a Child.

Faithful to her Duty, she was Loving, Self Sacrificing and Loyal to those who Needed Her.

The Neighbors and all who knew her Marveled at her Unselfish Spirit, her Patience and Christian Strength of Character.

About Six Years Ago she Married Bilbo Baggett and became in her own Home the Light and Love around which the Happiness of the Home Revolved.

Two Months Ago the Baggett's Moved to the Pisgah Neighborhood.

She was a Methodist and Faithful Attendant of the Services at the Crossroads Methodist Church.

Mrs. Baggett leaves her Husband and a Small Daughter, Patricia; and Two Brothers, Bennie Brooks and Howard Brooks, both of the Jumpertown Community.

Funeral Services were Conducted by Rev. Whitehurst at the Crossroads Church at One O'Clock, Friday Afternoon. McMillan and Son had Charge of the Arrangements.

The Sincere Consolation of this Paper is Joined with that of Friends in Expressing Sympathy.
