James Albert Hardman Jr., 66, of Parkersburg, went to be with the Lord January 4, 2018 from Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.

He was born in Alliance, OH, July 30, 1951, a son of the late James Albert Hardman Sr. and Martha Augusta (Kidder) Hardman Reed.

James attended Larkmead Gospel Church, retired from Simonton Window Company, and was a member of The Brothers of The Wheel.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Deborah Hardman of Parkersburg, four children, James A. Hardman III of Washington, Patricia Hardman Jameson of Parkersburg, Bryan Hardman of Parkersburg, and Stephanie Hardman of Parkersburg, half-brother, Edward E. Reed of Parkersburg, five grandchildren, Pedro, Skybird, Mickey, Lillbit, and Megaboo, three great grandchildren, Mymy, Addie, and Mikey.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his step-sister, Barbara Campbell and step-father, Edgar Reed.

Service will be Tuesday 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home in Parkersburg with Pastors Ed Leisure and Doug Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.leavittfuneralhome.com
