Patricia Kuhn, 65, of Dalton, Ga., and formerly of Niles, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on the morning of Monday, Dec. 25, 2017.
Patty was born Sept. 9, 1952, in Warren, to Mr. and Mrs. George Baker Sr., and was best known as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and sister. She was an avid seamstress and was known for her creative costumes. She was an organ donor.
She is survived by sons, Scott (Holly) Kuhn of Chatsworth, Ga., and Jeff Kuhn of Dalton, Ga.; daughter, Maggie (Ian) Mainville of Laval, Quebec; brothers, George (Vicki) Baker of Columbus, Greg Baker of Niles, and Tom (Pam) Baker of McDonald; sisters, Tracy (Donald) Eckrote of Mineral Ridge, and Judy (Jim) Dupler of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Kimberly and John, Kayla, Kaylub, Hayleigh, Tucker, Lucas and Jackson; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Kenley; a great number of nieces and nephews; her companion, Jerry Bowden; and special lifelong friends, Juanita Leeson and Kathy Stanley.
Other than her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Clyde Kuhn; brothers, James Baker and David Baker; sister, Mary Alice McCarley; and daughter-in-law, Rachael Kuhn.
A celebration of life memorial service was held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29 in the fellowship hall of Homeland Baptist Church in Chatsworth, Ga. Per her wishes, she was cremated.
