She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an Elvis fan who enjoyed working in her flower garden. She is survived by seven children, Jeanette (husband, John) Rediker of Alexandria, Teresa (husband, James) Simpson of Oakford, Diana (husband, Kenny) Baker of Alabama, Nancy (husband, Bob) McGinn, Becky Rodgers (fiancé, David "Quick" Goodson), James (wife, Shelley) Baker, Jr. and Steve Baker, all of Anderson; 14 grandchildren, Kimberley White, Teddy Joe "T.J." White, Jr. (companion, Missi Hernandez), Michael White, Dylan Simpson, Cynthia Baker, Ashley (husband, Charles) Forsyth, Heather (husband, Daniel) Williamson, Leeanna Cochran, Robert McGinn, Sabrina Rodgers (fiancé, Robert Clore, Jr.) Karina Rodgers (fiancée, Ashley Klingler), Chelsey Baker, Fancey Baker and James Baker, III; two great grandchildren, Ashlea Stanley and Kaylean Stanley; sisters and brother, Viola Ellingwood, Charles Shipley, Beatrice Shipley, Bernice Wood, Helen Shipley, Carolyn Purdy and Virginia Pierce. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Oscar and Hazel (Whetsel) Shipley; husband, James Baker, Sr.; two sons, Donny Baker and Danny Baker; four brothers, J.R.
