TAYLOR, BONITA ANN (nee morrison) Of Philadelphia, PA.

I have had a wonderful life! I was blessed to be born to James "Tiddles" and Betty Morrison on March 13, 1963. Growing up on a farm in Gore, Virginia with my Saint Bernard "Dutch" and my ponies, I enjoyed a childhood of roaming the outdoors. What more could a girl ask for!

When I was 13 years old, at the urging of my uncle, I accepted Christ and was baptized. From that time on I committed my life to making the lives of others better. I graduated from James Wood High School in Winchester, Virginia in 1981 and from Radford University in 1985. Using my degree in Interior Design, I embarked on a 32-year career with IKEA in 1985. Working for IKEA has been a fantastic journey which has afforded me opportunities for growth and development, travel around the world and fabulous friendships.
I married Rob Taylor in 2001. He is one of the more kind, generous and big-hearted people I know. He opened my life to a world of travel and exploration. His perseverance in life is an example to all.
I thank my mother "Betty Ruth" for being a strong woman and role model throughout my life. Her unconditional love gave me roots and wings.

I died on January 3, 2018 surrounded by my loved ones. As I exhaled my last breath on earth, I inhaled my first breath of eternal life in heaven.

My visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, January 7 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at GIFFIN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 2807 Northwestern Pike, Capon Bridge, West Virginia 26711. My Celebration of Life Service will also be held at Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, January 8 at 11:00 A.M. Please wear purple to the service to celebrate that I am in the presence of the Lord. Everyone is invited to the Graveside Service at Fairview Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gore, VA immediately following the Celebration of Life. Please gather at the Gore Fire Hall, 7184 Northwestern Pike, Gore, Virginia 22637, for a meal following the burial.

Thank you to the kind, empathetic and professional staff who cared for me at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA.
