Jane A. Sanders, 83, Forest, passed away at 12:20 am Monday, January 1, 2018, at her home. She was born December 28, 1934, in Kokomo, the daughter of the late Don & Georgia (Hollingsworth) Sutton. On March 7, 1954, she married Robert Bob Sanders who preceded her in death on March 8, 2007.
Jane was a 1953 graduate of Kokomo High School. She was a member of the Forest Baptist Church where she was involved with the Missionary Ladies Group. Jane enjoyed reading, and was an avid Indiana University Basketball, and Nascar Fan.
Jane is survived by her children, Robin (Donald) Parkhurst, Geetingsville, Stacey (Mark) Peterson, Louisville, KY, Mark (Connie) Sanders, Frankfort, and Suzanne (Brian) Evans, Russiaville; grandchildren, Camden Parkhurst, Cayden Parkhurst, Brogan Peterson, Adelaine Peterson, Carly Sanders, Dillion Evans, Hannah Feasel, and Georgia Evans; great-grandchildren, Kylie Parkhurst, and Cooper Parkhurst; step-grandchildren, Mason Deckard, Erek Deckard, and Jack Deckard; and nephew, Rick Sutton.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Jack Sutton.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street, with Phil Collier officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, near Forest.
