Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Olson entered into Heaven on December 30, 2017 at the age of 92. Betty was born March 20, 1925 in Coos Bay, Oregon to Winona (Smith) and Holger Anton Gustafson. She was raised in Ballard and graduated from Ballard High School in 1942. On June 14, 1946 she married Orvil S. Olson in Ballard and they made their first home in Renton. In 1954 the family moved to Enumclaw and started a dairy farm, which they sold in 1973. Over the years Betty worked various jobs, retiring from Rainier State School in 1993. Betty loved her family. She was the best cook, best seamstress, and the best everything to them. She enjoyed listening to gospel & country music.

Betty is survived by sons Stanley (Cindy), Wendell (Jewel), and Grady (Debra); daughters Janice Kecki (Don), Julianne Olson, and Joyce Olson; sister Eleanor “Norie” Adams; 16 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Orvil S. Olson on April 22, 2003; daughter Joan Elizabeth Bryant on July 6, 2009; sisters Margaret, Nancy, and Mary; and brother George.
