William & Abby last appeared in the Jul 1870 census report living in Groton. The family men were mainly all fisherman, the ones who lived in Groton are buried in Smith Lake Cemetery, Groton, CT and those who lived in Mystic are buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic, CT. I have emailed and called the care-keeper of Smith Lake Cemetery from the 1st of March to the middle of April 2018, the only email I received one email "This my full time job, I do the cemetery on a volunteer bases. Please do not send me any more e-mails!!!
I believe I am in line to place Wm and Abby in Smith Lake Cemetery.
