Benjamin "Benny" Woodrow Frazier, Sr.

Mr. Benjamin Woodrow Frazier, Sr., 62, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 1, 2018, after a brief illness. At an early age, “Benny” as he was so affectionately called, accepted Christ as his Personal Savior and joined Zion Baptist Church.

He served his country for eight years, in the United States Army. Later he retired from the United States Postal Service, after more than twenty years of service.

An avid softball player, he played for the Blue Jackets in his youth. He also had a passion for DJ’ing and was known as DJ Mix Master B. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

His fond memories will forever live in the hearts of his daughter, Lana Brazzel; sons, B.J. Frazier and Alex Frazier; four grandchildren; mother, Virginia Frazier; father, Hezekiah Frazier; a host of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 6, 2018, in Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Valerie C. Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 6308 Old Mooretown Road by 11:00 a. m. on Saturday. Mr. Frazier may be viewed in the funeral from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
