Lieutenant Kevin J. Fink

On Saturday December 30, 2017, our world changed when Kevin J. Fink, lost his hard fought battle to cancer surrounded by family and his closest friends, in his home where he wanted to be.

Kevin retired from the Navy in 2013, as a decorated Lieutenant after serving 27 years for our country with honor and pride. He was a loving husband and partner, a son who filled his parents with pride, a father who loved his kids more than life, a caring brother, nephew, cousin, and, a loyal friend. He left us too early, but we have comfort knowing that he is at peace looking over all of us. He was the most reliable person on the planet, someone we all depended on and someone we will never stop missing.

We know that he was greeted at the gates by friends and family, already stopped by the barber for his 1x2 haircut, stopped in for coffee to catch up with his former shipmates, and right about now, he is most likely sitting at his grandparent’s kitchen table with his family who are marveling at how well he lived his life. It is only a matter of time before he finds a place to watch his Dodgers and Miami Dolphins- and it is only a matter of time before he loudly boasts (so his fans below can hear him) "weighing in at 175".

Kevin is survived by his wife and soulmate, children, stepdaughter, parents, sisters, brother in law, stepsister, nephews, and his faithful devoted dog, Brie, who never left his side.
