Kathy L. Campbell, 62, of Danville passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She was born on Jan. 19, 1955, a daughter of the late Andrew Comrey Jr. and Anna (Scoviak) Comrey.
She was a graduate of Danville High School’s Class of 1973. Kathy enjoyed attending Danville High School football and basketball games.
She worked at GMC in medical records; Fleetwood Manufacturing; Weis Markets; Giant, and Knoebels throughout her lifetime. Kathy enjoyed gardening, baking, dancing, and attending farm markets and craft shows.
She leaves behind her beloved 17-year-old cat, Buddy. She would often puppy-sit for her siblings, who noted the animals truly loved Kathy. She was always greeted with barks and wagging tails!
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Titman, with whom she had a very close bond.
She is survived by her daughter: Shelby Millar and husband, Rob, of Riverside, and their daughter, Jaycelyn; grandson: Jordan Campbell and his girlfriend, Kelly Kepner, of Bloomsburg; great-granddaughter: Mia; two brothers: James and wife, Janet Comrey, and Andrew and wife, Judy Comrey, all of Danville; and two sisters: Linda Snyder and husband, Ken, of Pine Grove, and Jill Nye of Sunbury; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at Brady Funeral Home, 448 Church St., Danville, with Carl Beagle presiding. Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The family will provide flowers. Burial will take place in the spring at Faith Chapel Cemetery in Riverside (a/k/a Rush Presbyterian).
