Leroy Harris, 73, of Buna, Texas, passed away December 30, 2017 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
He was born April 10, 1944 in Evadale, Texas, to Leon and Bertha Moss Harris and was a lifelong resident the area.
He proudly served his country in the US Air Force. Leroy was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of Local 450.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Lou Harris; son Roy Dwayne Harris; brothers Ernest Harris, James Harris, Robert Harris and Mike Harris and sister Bea Burrell.
Survivors include sons, Steven Harris and Gary Harris and wife Michelle; daughter, Kimberly Darden and husband Henry; brothers, Tony Harris and Ben Harris; sisters, Jerry Pate, Joan Frizzell, Winnie Harris and Peggy Peck; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Interment: Morse Cemetery in Buna, Texas
