Naomi married Legore Frederick Wilson, on Saturday, June 3, 1929. To this union would be born one child; Legore Frederick Wilson, Jr. Naomi and Legore relocated to Chicago, Illinois. They would eventually move to at 7712 South Eberhart, Chicago, in the 1950's. The Wilsons were married for 60 years and 3 months. Naomi and Legore enjoyed a beautiful life together, they loved to entertain and celebrate with family and friends.
Naomi was taught love, respect and religion were the basis for a happy life. After the Wilsons moved to 7712 South Eberhart, Naomi converted to Catholicism. They joined Saint Dorothy Catholic Church, which was about a block away from their home. For many years they were regular Sunday 7am Mass attendees. Naomi said her Catholic faith had given her comfort, guidance and been the source of her strength.
Naomi is a Good Christian, and she would live to be 108 years, 8 months & 22 days. Naomi lived in her own home, cooked her own meals and had a very alert mind to the end, she was truly Blessed by the Lord. Naomi passed on Monday, the first day of 2018, she lived a full and complete life. Naomi's Funeral Mass was held at the 101 year old Saint Dorothy Catholic Church. Naomi was laid to rest at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, next to her husband, Legore.
