Mr. and Mrs. Jerry McCoy of Rt. 1, Hindsville, are proud to announce the birth of a 7 lb. 2 1/2 oz. baby boy, Justin Tyler, born Sept. 22 at the St. Mary's Rogers Memorial Hospital.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Griggs of Hindsville. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Sanford McCoy, also of Hindsville.

Justin Tyler McCoy, 31, of Jasper, died Jan. 1, 2018, in Low Gap.

He was born Sept. 22, 1986, in Rogers, the son of Jerry Douglas and Teresa Kay Griggs McCoy.

He was employed by USA Construction of Oklahoma City, Okla., laying fiber optic cable and was formerly a welder and service technician for J. V. Manufacturing.

He was a Christian and a volunteer firefighter for the Jasper Fire Department.

Justin was full of life, deeply loved his family and cherished his friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents, Sanford and Glenna McCoy; his maternal grandfather, Larry Griggs; and one stepbrother, Zachary McCoy.

Survivors include: his wife, Bethsheba Renee Martin McCoy of the home; two sons, Braxton James McCoy and Kole Bradley McCoy, both of Springdale; his father and stepmother, Jerry and Rita McCoy of Mayfield; his mother and stepfather, Teresa and Roy McCoy of Granbury, Texas; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Darren and Klisha McCoy of Granbury, Brandon McCoy of Fayetteville, Cory and Shala McCoy of Hindsville, Joshua and Kerri McCoy of Huntsville, and Ronnie Honaker of Lowell; one sister, Christina Honaker of Mayfield; maternal grandmother Judy Griggs of Hindsville; mother-in-law and father-in-law Karla and Rick Stadler of West Fork; father-in-law Dalton Martin of Jasper; two nephews, Asher McCoy and Waylon McCoy, both of Huntsville; three nieces, Abigayle McCoy, Chloe McCoy and Josie McCoy, all of Granbury; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 5, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Loren Collins officiating.

Interment followed in the Aurora Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Pallbearers were Darren McCoy, Cory McCoy, Kevin McCoy, Ronnie Honaker, Jim York and Joshua McCoy.
