Memorial services will be 12:00 noon Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with visitation one hour prior to services. Inurnment will be at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to the family.
Sandra was born on May 7, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa. She married Gilbert Barrett on May 9, 1970 in Galesburg. Sandy was a medical transcriptionist for St. Louis University for 27 years. She retired in 2010.
She enjoyed bowling and was an avid bingo player. She loved her family, especially her two grandchildren Whitney White and Micki Barrett.
Survivors include her children, Bryan (Anna) Barrett, Milan and Joyelle (Rusty) Barrett, Davenport; grandchildren, Whitney and Micki; and her brother, Jack (Julie) Shallberg, Elburn, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Ireta Shallberg, and her husband, Gilbert.
