Katherine Marie Simpson, age 63, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Wildwood Communities after a lengthy illness.
Katherine was born June 4, 1956 in Newton County, daughter of the late Charles and Martha M. Sooter. She worked her whole life for different workshops in the Joplin area. She retired from the Joplin Sheltered Workshop in 2014 after 19 years of service. She enjoyed spending time at Fellowship Baptist Church where she made many friendships.
She will be buried with her parents in Osborne Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
