Bobby Joe Whitlow, 79, of Paragould, Arkansas passed Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Three Rivers Health Care and Rehabilitation, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Bobby Joe was born March 29, 1938 in Lynn, Arkansas, to the late James and Sybil (Howard) Whitlow. Bobby Joe owned and operated BJ Tree Service for many years in Rockford, Illinois and Paragould, Arkansas. He attended church at House of Prayer in Paragould.
Survivors include one brother, Hershel (Bev) Whitlow of Jonesboro, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Melissa, Jonathan, Jedediah, Carl, Christofer and Everett; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Freeda Whitlow, one son Robert Whitlow, one daughter Lisa Marie Whitlow, four brothers, Gene, Thurman, Junior and Wayne, and one sister, Wave Goodman.
Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 6th, 2018 at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, Paragould, with Brother David King officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service at the Mitchell Funeral Home.
Martin Dorton, Dustin Dorton, Alan Whitlow, Olan Gann, Jeff Miles, and Robert Hanks will serve as pallbearers.
