Robert Monroe Denson (1937-2018)

(June 15, 1937 - January 3, 2018) Robert made his home in Yukon, Oklahoma, was born in Wichita, Kansas, June 15, 1937, the son of Cecil and Lottie Denson, who preceded him in death. Bob spent his life working in the grocery and restaurant industries. His real passions were cooking and serving others. His greatest passion was serving God!

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Maddox Denson of 35 years. He is also survived by his children, Dana Davis (Bruce), Danise Patterson (Bill), Allison White (Robert), and Randy Willingham (Kristin). He also leaves 6 grandchildren: Clay Connell, Jamie Westbrook, Lindsay Davis, Nicholas and Maddox Willingham, and Tristan White. He is survived by his sister, Mary Laycock (Ray) of Pampa, Texas and other extended family and many friends.

His family especially thanks the staffs of Providence Home Care, Centennial Hospice, Visiting Angels, and Verna and Steve for their tireless care during Bob’s illness.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to: The ROC (Reaching Our City) www.reachingourcity.org

Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Mercer-Adams Chapel, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
