Funeral services for Jeannette Lucille Collins, 80, who passed away on December 31, 2017, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM in The Good Samaritan Church, 44 Jericho Road, Jacksonvile, FL 32218 with Dr. David Thompson and Rev. Brandon Lane officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow in Dunn Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. She was a housewife and mother that loved her family very much. She was a member of The Good Samaritan Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the late W. C. and Mildred Gray; Sisters, Frances Card Miller and Mary Phillips; And grandson, Eric Allen Collins. Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Gerald Harrell Collins Sr.; 5 sons, Gerald Harrell Collins Jr. (Annette), Stephan Clifford Collins (Melonye), Ronald Allen Collins (Natasha), and Todd William Collins (Darlene); 1 brother, Jerry Colis Gray (Johnie). Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
