Louise was born January 4, 1927 to George Hance Johnson and Rebecca Maddox Johnson of Terry, MS. She attended school in Terry and then moved to Crystal Springs and attended Crystal Springs Consolidated School where she graduated.
Louise went to work in Jackson, MS as a secretary until she married and became a homemaker. She married the late Dallas Sims and they made their home in Crystal Springs, MS.
Louise was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was a wonderful Christian lady. She always stayed close to the Lord and her faith in the Lord would always see her through whatever she was facing.
Louise was a wonderful mother who was always there for her children and grandchildren growing up and even as adults. She loved all her children and grandchildren dearly.
Louise loved to work with flowers inside and outside. She enjoyed yardwork, feeding birds and watching them fly in and out. Louise loved to fish, cook and sew. She loved to feed the cats and care for her dog.
Louise is survived by her four children, Robert Sims, Joyce Sims Thornton (Harry), Richard Lee Sims (Diane) and Danny Sims (Jonelle); six grandchildren, Rob Sims, Tonya Thornton, Richard Lee Sims, Jr. (Meredith), Leigh Ann Sims, Stephen Sims (Rachel), Daniel Sims (Mary); eleven great grandchildren, Brooke Danielle Sims, Elena Sims, Blaine Sims, Iverson Sims, Saddler Sims, Wailes Sims, Harper Sims, Joy Sims, Rosemary Sims, Sally Sims and Graham Sims.
Louise will be missed dearly but her family can find comfort in knowing she is in heaven with the Lord and she will not suffer anymore. God bless you Mama, we love you and will miss you.
