Nellie Mildred (Vick) Barnett, 83, died on July 18, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Archie C. Barnett; daughter, Donna Elois Barnett; parents: J.C. and Martha Louise Vick; four sisters: Lena Mae Peoples, Elizabeth Ann Webber, Martha Faye Parker, and Frances Barnett; two brothers, John Calvin Vick and James H. Vick. She worked at Beaunit for fifteen years and at Avondale for fifteen years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, three granddaughters, and five great-granddaughters. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. July 20, 2016 at Radney Smith Funeral Home.
