DANIEL JAY "DAN" SIMPSON, 61, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, as a result of a car accident. Born June 1, 1956, in Fort Wayne, he was a son to the late Donald J. and Jane E. (Hoeppner) Simpson. Dan graduated from Northrup High School, in 1974. He spent many years as a dry-waller. Most recently he was a delivery driver for the airport. Dan was a golfer and bowler who enjoyed faithfully watching Jeopardy. Surviving are his sisters, Julie (Rodney) Knox and Jill (Jeff) Hoelle. He was the best uncle to Craig, Steven, Katie, Colleen, Kevin, and Cindy; and a great uncle to Sofia, Mackenzie, Isaac, Jordan, Andrew, Cooper, Scarlet, Nadia, Sawyer, Keagan, and Kai.

He is also survived by many family and friends. He will be missed by all. "Now he can hit that hole-in-one and bowl that 300!"

Memorial service is 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017, at FairHaven Funeral Home, 6557 N. Clinton St., with visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of service. Send online condolences at www.fairhavenfortwayne.com
