P. L. Van Blaricom
Centerville-Phillip Lee Van Blaricom, 81, died Thursday following surgery at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, where he had been a patient one week.
He was born near Iconium December 17, 1877, the son of Beal and Vianna Williams (sic) Van Blaricom. He was married to Sally Helen Peckham, who survives.
He is survived besides his wife two daughters, Mrs. Lena Johnson of Centerville and Mrs. Myrtle Brown of Pasadena, Calif.; two sons, Roy L. and Alva J. Van Blaricom of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and three step daughters.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Pearl and Neal Van Blaricom of Des Moines.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati.
