Melissa Kay Graves of Oneonta, AL., passed away on December 29, 2017 at the age of 48. Ms. Graves was a 1987 graduate of Susan Moore High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force as a Munitions Systems Specialist. She enjoyed reading.
She is preceded in death by father, Wilburn Gargus and brothers, Russell Gargus, Darryl Gargus and Bryan Gargus.
Survivors include mother, Helon Jean Gargus of Oneonta; brother, Chris Gargus of Oneonta; nephews, Patrick Gargus (Amanda), Bryan Gargus (Tabitha), Josh Gargus (Jessica) and Shawn Gargus; nieces, Laura Gargus, Amanda Renay Dawkins, Leann Ward and Jessica Wood; special friends, Serena McBrayer and Lynn Franks.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1PM from the Camellia Court Community Center.
