Frank C. Whitman died in McLeod Hospital, Florence, South Carolina, where he had been a patient nine days. He was taken ill on the way home from a three-month vacation in Pompano Beach, Florida.
He was born near Boston, Massachusetts in 1891. He lived in New York City, moved to East Orange in 1938. He moved to Whitehouse seven years ago after he retired as general manager of the New York Eastern Division of GENESCO Co. of Nashville, Tenn.
He was a member of the Aleppo Shrine Temple and Masonic Lodge of Boston.
Survivors include his widow, Olive Bishop Whitman; one brother, Angus, Brockton, Mass. and several nieces and nephews.
His obituary was published in the Hunterdon County Democrat on April 7, 1966.
