After graduating from Midland High School, Carl enlisted in the United States Army. Upon his discharge from his military obligation, Carl went to work for Chrysler in the Detroit area. He spent 20 years living in North Carolina before moving back to Midland three years ago.
Carl enjoyed fishing and was an avid auto enthusiast.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie; brother, Keith (Janine) Blanck; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn; and his sister, Cheryl Muller.
Visitation for Carl will take place Thursday, January 4, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street. Military Honors will be presented by the Midland Area Veterans and the United States Department of the Army. Private family interment will follow in Midland Cemetery.
