Clayton C. Cunningham, 84, of Easton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Clayton was born in Sandts Eddy, PA, a son of the late Russell and Mable (Halpin) Cunningham. Clayton was married to the former Margaret Mary (Rizzo), with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage this past July.

He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, stationed in Alaska for four years. Clayton was a radio engineer for WEST Radio Station, and he was a book binder for Creative Graphics of Allentown before retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, Clayton is survived by son Michael Palmer and wife Maria of Hawthorne, CA; sisters Betty Benner of Palmer Twp., Pauline Minger of Palmer Twp., Doris Ostrander of Wilson Boro, Frances Slack of Bethlehem Twp.; brothers Kenneth Cunningham and wife Jessica of Palmer Twp., William Cunningham and wife Joanne of Easton, James Cunningham of Easton; grandchildren Neil, Morgan, Seth, Michael, and Teresa; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a daughter Phyllis Palmieri; a sister Martha Schermerhorn; brothers Harry, Joseph and Robert Cunningham.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp).
