He was married to Florence for 46 years until her passing in 1987. He passed away on January 3, 1989 in Claude, Texas at the age of 69. He was survived by his Son Bobby Bailey and wife Lynda of Amarillo, TX, 4 Grandchildren Karen Tellman and husband Christopher and Bobby Bailey and wife Shannon both of Amarillo, TX, Tina and Timmy Bailey both of Houston, TX, 5 Great-Grandchildren Chris, Heather and Ben Hughes, Alexandria and Kristen Bailey. He was predeceased in death by his wife Florence, parents Ernest Bailey, Leila Killebrew, Step-Father William Killebrew, Grandparents Lu and Sarah Sullenger, Brother Donald Bailey and Nephew Joe Dean Bailey. As of 2017 he has 3 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
