Dorothy Juanita Fischbach of Lecoma, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the age of 84. Dorothy was born on October 31, 1933 in Vienna, Illinois to the late Rufus Joe and Dorothy Lee (Tweedy) Cook
Dorothy was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Fischbach, Sr. on October 13, 1949. She had a long time career with Purina Farms, which is now known as Nestle, where she would retire. She was very much into music; playing the piano and singing for many local bands throughout the years. She enjoyed sewing, traveling and spending time with her family. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Dorothy is survived by children, Susan Lynn (John) Rossy of Lecoma, MO, Juanita “NeNe” (Bobbie) Caviness of Lecoma, MO, and Linda Gail Williams and partner Danny Click of Salem, MO; step-son, Robert L. (Rebekah) Fischbach Jr. of Warrenton, MO. Brother, Danny Cook of Bismarck, MO; sisters, Margaret Schnell of St. Louis, MO, Shirley Gaddy of Bismarck, MO and Marilyn (Kevin) Stark of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Joel, Brian, Anthony, Amanda and Andrew; step-grandchildren, Leah and Jeremy; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband of sixty-seven years, Robert Fischbach, Sr. and seven siblings.
Funeral Services for Dorothy Fischbach, will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Rolla Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary, Rolla, Missouri with Pastor Doyle Wools officiating. Interment will be held in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri. Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Rolla Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary, Rolla, Missouri on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 11AM until service time at 1PM.
