MRS. A. E. EDWARDS PAID LAST TRIBUTE

Mrs. Margaret Lucy Hanna Edwards, for 50 years a resident of Montague, was buried from St. Beeds Anglican Church. Born in Cumberland County, she was in her 79th year. She was married to Alexander Edwards of Merrickville, Ont 52 years ago.

Mrs. Edwards was a member of St. Beeds Church, and was a lady grande of L.O.L. 571 Montague. Orange rites were administered at her late home and the church service was conducted by Rev. J. W. Cornish.

She is survived by 3 sons Basil of Timmins, Harold of Oshawa, and Leonard of Smiths Falls; two daughters, Mrs. T. Carr of Ottawa and Mrs. Mary Beer of Toronto; one sister, Mrs. J. McKellar of Parry Sound; three brothers, Samuel of Detroit and Thomas and Frederick in Saskatchewan; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
