This is my favorite picture of my big brothers. What little girl wouldn’t feel pretty secure with these two having her back?
Together they gave me my first rock and roll cassette (Born in the U.S.A.)
Kim took me to my 9th grade formal wearing granddaddy’s tuxedo with the big fat bow tie from the 70’s.
They gave me my first bike.
My first car.
But time makes you bolder
And children get older ....
And this week the landslide came for my oldest brother Kim (the one standing).
Things were different when I grew up as things got hard for him. But I have such fun memories of him from childhood and that’s what I’m thinking of today. Rest In Peace brother.

Mr. Kimberly Estes, age 56, of Wetumpka AL passed away at his residence December 30,2017. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Beulah Baptist Church 2320 Grier Road Wetumpka AL. at 2 PM with Rev. Ken Stadola officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Kim is survived by his mother Carol Jean Singleton of Wetumpka AL; daughter Amy Estes of Montgomery AL; son Joseph Estes of Eclectic AL; sisters Tabitha Maples of Montgomery AL and Sasha Johns of Birmingham AL ; and brother Tony Estes. Brookside Funeral Home directing.
