Lewis A. Crawford, 76 of 1724 Whittier Ave, owner of Crawford Cycle Shop from 1923 to 1962 prior to his retirement, died at 9 a.m., Feb. 4, 1974, at his home.

Mr. Crawford was born at Williamsville, the son of William H. and Ella J. Crawford.

He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church Holy Name Society, K of C Council No. 364, Bishop Griffin Assembly of the Fourth Degree of Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his widow, Marianna; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Johnson of Springfield; two sons, Frederick L. of Springfield and Dr. James J.L. Crawford of Chapel Hill, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
