Billy Blaine Jennings, 55, of Athens died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born December 6, 1962 in Mercer County he was the son of Shelby Jean Martin Jennings of Athens and the late Billy Hugh Jennings.
Billy was a graduate of Athens High School and was a Toll Collector for the West Virginia Parkways Authority. He was a member of the Peaceful Valley Church in Gardner and his faith became sight in his life. He was a member of the NRA and loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Darla L. Jennings.
Additional survivors include one sister, Prema Stilwell and husband Delmar of Athens; one brother, Timothy M. Jennings and wife Lisa of Athens; nieces and nephews, Mark Jennings, Andrew Jennings, Jeremiah Stilwell and wife Elisha, Terry Hammond and husband Heath, Hannah Tucker and Roland Tucker.
In keeping with Billy's wishes his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Delmar Stilwell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Tuesday.
