Mrs. Cordelia Adler, 65, of Bethlehem, widow of the late Uley Adler, died Friday morning, August 23, 1935, of cancer of the liver. She had been active until about twelve days before her death. Before her marriage she was a Miss Blackerby.
She is survived by ten children, Mrs. J.M. Frazier, Mrs. John Washburn, Mrs. Ed Washburn, Mrs. Selester Baxter, Mrs. Elmer Baxter, Mrs. Ira Rucker, Mrs. Nick Tingle, Mrs. Lorenzo Raisor, Mr. Blaine Adler and Mr. Chester Adler; several grandchildren and one brother, Mr. Mumphrey Blackerby.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church where her funeral was preached Saturday afternoon by Pastor W. E. Richardson. Burial was in the Point Pleasant Cemetery.
