Mary Margaret Henry, 99, of Longmont passed away December 28, 2017 at her home. She was born August 27, 1918 on the family farm near Cowles, Nebraska to Henry and Margaret (Britten) Conway. Mary married Glen B. Henry on May 31, 1947 in Blue Hill, Nebraska. They moved to Longmont in 1956 from Nebraska. Mary was a homemaker and employed by St Vrain Valley School District for over forty years. She was a longtime member of St John's Catholic Church. Mary loved taking care of her family, had a wonderful sense of humor, and never knew a stranger. She treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and believed they kept her young at heart. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen in 1987, her parents, a son Michael Henry, 6 brothers; Leo Conway, Bernard Conway, Clarence Conway, Raymond Conway, Elmer Conway, Lawrence Conway, 4 sisters; Clara Vasicek, Emma Danker, Loretta Wenzinger, Mildred Brennan. Mary is survived by her sons, Robert Henry and Roger Henry; her daughters, Gwen Schell (Jim), Mary Alison Henry (Joseph Keith), and Karen Henry; grandchildren, Brandon (Heather) Henry, Ryan Henry, Meredith (Dave) Donahue, Brett Schell, Brian (Hilary) Schell, Shawn Henry, Christa (Brian) St. John; great grandchildren, Abby, Caleb, and Eli Henry, Tori Schell, Hailey and Madison Donahue, and Ava and Mila Schell; and one sister Edna Menner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Resurrection will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at St. John's The Baptist Catholic Church, Longmont. Inurnment will be at Foothills Gardens of Memory Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St John's Catholic Church or the St. Vrain Valley School Education Foundation.
