Everett Junior Taylor, 69, of Beaver Dam Road, Rawlings, MD, died Monday, December 25, 2017 at the Hampshire Health Care Center in Romney, WV.

Born on June 24, 1948 at Cumberland, MD, he was a son of the late Everett F. Taylor and Mary E. (Lough) Taylor Mayhew. He also was preceded in death by his stepfather, Olan Mayhew; three brothers, Richard, Roy and Harvey Taylor and three sisters, Hazel Reddington, Loretta Shuck and Helen Ezzell.

Mr. Taylor was employed as a truck driver for various trucking companies over the years and served in the United States Army in Korea during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his sons, Kevin E. Taylor of Keyser and Keith E. Taylor and wife Martha of Romney, WV; one brother, David Taylor of Lebanon, PA; two sisters, Dorothy Parrish of California and Margaret Haines of McCoole, MD; seven grandchildren, Andrew Murray, Josh Taylor, Kassidy Taylor, Levi Taylor, Hailey Taylor, Katie Fultz and Kevin Fultz and three great-grandchildren, Bentley, Adalee and Alianna Murray.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gwen Wolford officiating.

Interment will be in the MD State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, Flintstone, MD.
