Zachary, 22, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. He was the son of Scott Jones and Marihelen Hemingway.

Surviving is long-time girlfriend Taylor Nelson and their son Westley Jones. Zachary was also survived by mother Amy Jones, younger brother Travis Jones, paternal grandparents Jane (Chris) Vincent and maternal grandparents Tom (Jenny) Hemingway. He is also survived by uncles Bill and Tim Jones, uncle Mark Seyfried, uncle Shannon Hemingway, Amy’s parents Robert and Kathleen Schwartzenberger, grandmother Christine Jones, and many cousins.

Preceded by paternal grandpa Gary Jones, uncle Shawn Hemingway, and Kip Hemingway.

Zachary was known for his sense of humor. He cared deeply for the Earth, and all of the people on it.

He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time outdoors, especially on Crooked Lake. He will be remembered as a loving and caring father.

Funeral services were held on Friday, December 29, 2017 from the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, with Reverend Al Hamlet officiating. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dexter.
