Sherrill Ann Bickel, 80, of Littleton, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Porter Hospice. She was born in Long Beach, California on January 11, 1937 to Ferne (Matthews) and Harrison (Harry) Helm. Sherrill was raised in Wilmington, California and attended schools there. She graduated from Phineas Banning High School in 1955. On April 27, 1956, Sherrill was married to Robert (Bob) Bickel. They were married for 10 years.
Sherrill worked at Citizen's National Bank in Redondo Beach, California, eventually becoming a Vice President of the bank. Other positions Sherrill held were as a food service worker at Ambassador College in Pasadena, California, as a housekeeper/companion for an elderly couple, and Property Manager for SC Investments in Littleton, Colorado.
Sherrill is survived by three brothers: Lawrence Helm of California, Richard Helm of Idaho and William Williams of Denver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Joshua Williams and his wife, Amber, of Highlands Ranch, and the light of her life, her great-nephew, Conner Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband and her younger sister, Pamela S. Alvarado.
