Deborah Renae Hudson, 63, died peacefully in Oklahoma City on December 26, 2017 after a year-long battle with cancer. Deb was born April 9, 1954 in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Deb graduated from Choctaw High School in 1972 and spent her career in business and IT. As a young adult, she enjoyed painting as a hobby. She volunteered with the OKC Junior Achievement Program, teaching young adults about business. She also mentored reading at Jackson Middle School. Gardening was another of Deb’s great pleasures. She was very active at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son Andrew, biological father Leland Purrier, Jr., sisters Cheryl Christian, Linda Purrier, and Nova Purrier-Cross and brother Jimmie Purrier.

She was preceded in death by her parents JoAnn and George Arment, brother Mark, and sisters Coleen and Connie.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 15400 North Western Avenue in Edmond on January 4 at 6:30 p.m. A memorial in Deb’s name has been established at Lord of Life.
